Form analysis and tips:

Race 1 Ruapehu Farm Supplies Maiden (Mdn 1550m) Outstanding has been runner up in his last two at Hastings and looks a big chance to go one better here. Tipperary mary was a good second on debut before battling when back in distance at Woodville. She will appreciate the step up in distance here. our Charli's Angel was a good sixth here in a R65 race before running third in a Maiden at Woodville. Charlie Horse was better at Woodville when fourth and jumps up in distance here which will suit.  1 - 9 - 10 - 5

Race 2 PGG Wrightson Limited Handicap (Rating 65 1250m) - Smoken Ace has been there abouts in very good fields of late and has drawn well at two to get a cosey run. Myrtle impressed when winning her maiden here last season and should run a bold arce fresh up. Abbey Road has had one run back and was impressive at the Foxton trials on Tuesday while Pure Daze won her maiden very well on debut at Woodville.  4 - 9 - 1 - 7

Race 3 Rural Fuel Handicap (R65 1550m) - Seraphim stormed home for second when resuming at Te Aroha and will appreciate the extra distance here. Alarmist was another to run a big race when resuming at Waverley and is also up in distance. the Coasscak was only 1.2 lengths off the winner at Rotorua when resuming over 1400 while The Rippa has run two good races since winning hios maiden fresh up. The chances dont stop there in this race and cases could be made for Londaro, Andarta, So It Was and Dance For Money.  6 - 8 - 3 - 4

Race 4 Feilding Hotel Handicap (Rating 85 1550m) - Slimline has had two runs back in very strong fields and will find this company a little easier. She is a winne rof a Listed Stakes race over this distance previously. Travimyfried was good when winning at Hawera and ran a tidy race for thrid at Hastings. Ocean Emperor was beaten just over half a length when fifth at Rotorua while Lord Sibford was not far away by a very good one at Hastings in Yearn last time  7 - 4 - 5 - 8

Race 5 Courtesy Ford Redcrraze Bowl (Opn Hcp 1400m) - a small but very good field. Shadow Fox resumed with a good run for seventh at Hastings and will strip fitter here. Aide Memoire with the aid of an allowance from apprentice jockey Kate Cowan will be his toughest opponent. She was a very good second in the Taranaki Breeders last time out. Beefeater and Shadows Cast are both very good up and comers and both will be better for there one run back. 4 - 1 - 7 - 6

Race 6 Power Farming Handicap (Rating 75 1400m) Storytime was very impressive when resuming at Rotorua with the top weight of 60kg and winning. She drops down to 55.5kg for this race. Hasahalo was a very good 2YO and just found the track too testing when resuming at Hastings. She will appreciate the step up in distance. Red Sierra was very good when resuming before winning well at Woodville last time out. Cassie Anne got home well late for fourth at Hawera over 1200m and will appreciate the extra 200m here.  10 - 11 - 13 - 8

Race 7 Ratanui Development Company Handicap (Rating 75 2100m) Diesel was very good when running sixth at Tauranga last time over the 1600m. He has a very good record over the 2100m. Jump For Joy has impressed in winning her last two including one here.  She will need some luck from the draw. Lovetokeephim was very brave at Trentham last Saturday and is capable of repeating despite the rise in rating band whiole Strolling Vagabond has been close up in his last two runs for fifth and should be thereabouts. 3 - 4 - 6 - 7

Race 8 Ricoh Feilding Gold Cup (Opn Hcp Listed 2100m) a good even field for the Cup. Maygrove didnt get all favours when fifth at Rotorua and looks a big threta here. Five To Midnight had no luck in the G1 at Hastings and should be better here. He placed in this race last year. Blathwayt was better when third in the Egmont Cup and is a past winner of this race while Rock On had no luck in the Group 1 at Hastings and should have finished alot closer. 2 - 4 - 3 - 9

Race 9 Ian Humphrey Motors & Humphrey Family Handicap (Rating 65 1550m) Lincoln Bay is on the drop back in Ratings and was close up when resuming at Hastings. Hermanito was very impressive on debut. He was then spelled and didnt get the best of trips when resuming at Hawera. Hank Moody is another who is down a Rating band following his Hastings run and should strip fitter here. Nadiasstar was a good winner when reusming at Waipukurau. She has disappointed in her last two but is capable of bouncing back. 3 - 6 - 1 - 11
