Nun So Bad and stablemate Prince Turbo enhanced their prospects for Waverley on Sunday with a very satisfactory final trial at Awapuni this morning.

All fast work during a quiet gallop session was on the plough (good), where Nun So Bad (mdn 2200m) and Prince Turbo (r65 2200m) were paired over a quiet round and a half before speeding up to complete 800m in 50.7, the last 600 in 37.7.

Nun So Bad may not have the right form on the board, but is working well, and her last start at Otaki (2200m) had merit.

At the Feilding meeting two weeks ago, Prince Turbo added yet another second to his growing tally of minor placings. He has chalked up just two wins in his career but, ironically, both have been in the month of November.

Their stablemates Hungry and un-raced Sweynesse gelding Sea Monarch were on terms throughout 800m in 51 seconds even, the last 600 in 37.3. They have been working solidly in recent weeks as well.

Sir Beets and a Niagara gelding covered 800m in 52.3, the last 600 in 37.5, while Casino El Jay and un-raced three-year-old filly Better Days (by Preferment) came up with 53.1 and 38.2.

Lincoln Lane, who has not raced since the autumn, and Mormaire (by Per Incanto) ran 800m in 53.2, the last 600 in 38.5. Mormaire debuts in the maiden 1200m at Waverley on Sunday after a trial win at Woodville (1000m) last week.

Un-raced four-year-old gelding Hong Kong (by Pour Moi), who won at the Woodville trials (1000m) as well, left 800m behind in 53.5, the last 600 in 38.9. He won a trial at Foxton (850m) two weeks earlier.

Nest Egg and last-start winner Town Cryer were at a good clip early over 1000m in 1.5.9, easing a shade over the final section to end with 600 in 39.3.

Rock Island Line, third in the Redcraze Bowl (1400m) at Feilding two weeks ago, was timed 1000m in 1.8.7, the last 600 in 39.8.
