On this day we have a hospitality package running in the Silks Lounge which includes guest speakers and a silent auction to raise money for these charities and $5 from each ticket sold will also be donated.
There will be a raffle in the main foyer to raise money and there will be a gold coin donation for admission on-course.
We have included some more details below about each charitable organisation:
The Ellie Stokes Trust was established to raise money for Ellie who fell riding track work breaking her back in five places in 2019. Ellie was working with thoroughbred racehorses in a racing stable with the dream of becoming a jockey when the accident occurred. The trust has been set up to help with construction and associated costs in building a house which is specially adapted to meet the needs of her wheelchair.
The Salvation Army helps with mental health & wellbeing and is a huge support to the racing industry.

Your day at Awapuni Function Centre includes: a table for ten guests, a $100 betting voucher, a silent auction to raise money for our charities, guest speakers, reserved seating, a drink on arrival, light lunch, betting facilities, racebook & pen for each guest at $650. Individual tickets are also available for $55pp.
