MEMBER RECIPROCAL RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES
Depending on your level of membership of RACE, you may be entitled to Reciprocal Rights with a large number of major racing clubs in New Zealand, Australia and Asia.
It is important when visiting a reciprocal Club that you have your Membership Cards or a Letter of Introduction from RACE. A letter can be produced by contacting the office via brad.taylor@jointheaction.co.nz or on 06 356 4940
Unless stated, the gate charge at all meetings must be paid where applicable. Members without season guest privileges at Awapuni may be restricted to one Members’ ticket at other Clubs.
While every effort is made to ensure these Reciprocal Rights are correct, individual Clubs may vary benefits provided from time to time. We would appreciate any feedback as to your experience at other clubs.
Note that these reciprocal rights are also available to other RACE "Premier" , ""Full" and "Young" level memberships.
RECIPROCAL CLUBS AND YOUR BENEFITS AS A MEMBER OF AN ARC BASED CLUB
NEW ZEALAND
RACE Clubs at Wellington Racing Club at Trentham and the Awapuni Racing Centre:
Premier Membership,
of any RACE Clubs are entilted to full reciprocal benefits including complimentary admission to Awapuni and Trentham Racecourses and use of Members facilities for all racedays, including Wellington Cup Day.
Full Membership,
Includes admission to Awapuni and Trentham Racecourses and use of Members facilities for all racedays however excludes Wellington Cup Day
Young Membership,
of any RACE Inc Clubs are entilted to full reciprocal benefits including complimentary admission to Awapuni, and Trentham Racecourses and use of Members facilities for all racedays, including Wellington Cup Day.
Auckland Thoroughbred Racing (ATR)
Auckland Thoroughbred Racing (ATR) offers the following reciprocal rights to all New Zealand and Australian thoroughbred racing clubs, to attend both Ellerslie and Pukekohe Park venues.
Prior to any Premier Raceday, reciprocal members will need to contact ATR’s membership secretary (membership@ellerslie.co.nz) to ensure Ascot Stand (Ellerslie) or Fulton Lounge (Pukekohe Park) tickets are put aside to purchase at a discounted rate from the raceday office on the raceday. These tickets will entitle reciprocal members to enjoy the comfort of Members’ Stand at a discounted rate.
On all other ATR racedays we are pleased to offer reciprocal members complimentary Members stand tickets.
Reciprocal members will need to pay the gate charge if one applies.
Waikato Racing Club
A RACE Member will be provided complimentary tickets to the Kentucky (Members) Lounge on presentation of their current RACE membership. Gate admission charges (if any) must be paid.
Hawke’s Bay Racing Inc.
A RACE Member is entitled up to two Members’ tickets for any HBRI meeting by presenting their RACE Membership Card, or a letter from the RACE, at the Raceday Office.
Canterbury Jockey Club
Any RACE Premier or RACE Full Member is entitled up to two Members’ tickets for any CJC meeting by presenting their Membership Cards, or letter from RACE at the Raceday Office.
AUSTRALIA
Australian Turf Club
(Formerly the Australian Jockey Club and Sydney Turf Club)
Royal Randwick, Rosehill Gardens, Canterbury Park, Warwick Farm
ATC are pleased to extend the following reciprocal privileges to Members of RACE visiting any of our racecourses from August 2022 – July 2023.
1. On Selected Feature Racedays Members are required to purchase course admission (either online or at the racecourse) and, upon presentation of their current RACE Members card at the Raceday Office on the day, are entitled to a complimentary Members’ Reserve ticket. RACE Members can also purchase up to one Members’ Guest ticket for a guest at the normal Members price.
2. On Standard Saturdays, Mid Weeks, Nights and Public Holidays, Members are required to purchase course admission (either online or at the racecourse) and, upon presentation of their current RACE Members card at the Raceday Office on the day, are entitled to receive a complimentary Members’ Reserve ticket. RACE Members can also purchase up to three Members' Guest tickets for guests at the normal Members price.
Please be advised that these privileges are extended to current, financial Members of your Club. Guest cards are not accepted. Available race days are subject to change, without notice.
Please present on the day with your RACE Membership card and PHOTO ID
These privileges are offered in the spirit of reciprocity and apply to visiting members from NZ not resident in Australia.

Victoria Racing Club
On all days apart from Melbourne Cup Carnival, A RACE Member is entitled to two Members Stand tickets after paying any applicable gate charges. Please proceed to the Raceday Office following entry to show proof of Membership. A full list of the race days and rights can be found HERE
For the Melbourne Cup Carnival, the Victoria Racing Club extend an invitation to RACE Members to purchase Members’ Enclosure Ticketing for the Carnival.
For the 2022 Melbourne Cup Carnival, please download the Members’ Enclosure Ticket Application Form for the WRC from HERE. For other RACE Clubs (Awapuni Clubs -MRC,RRC,FJC & MJC) please download from HERE

Melbourne Racing Club
A RACE Member is entitled to one complimentary Members’ ticket on all days at Caulfield & Sandown (including Caulfield Cup Day). Members’ also have the opportunity to purchase one guest pass as well.
Moonee Valley Racing Club (Melbourne)
A RACE Member has the opportunity to purchase two Members’ tickets for all days at Moonee Valley (including Cox Plate Day). On non-major days some complimentary tickets will be available. On all days the gate charge must be paid where applicable. Should you wish to know rights in advance, please contact the WRC prior to travel.
We have been advised that once again this year the MVRC will be offering Full Reciprocal Rights privileges and to advise RACE Members that they are offering a promotion with their Memberships for International Racing Club Members wanting to come to the Cox Plate. Brisbane Racing Club
A RACE Member is entitled to one complimentary Members’ tickets on all race days at Eagle Farm and Doomben. RACE Members must show ID and their RACE Members Card or Letter of Introduction from the Club. On all days the gate charge must be paid where applicable.
For the 2022/2023 Brisbane Racing Carnival (May and June), the Brisbane Racing Club extends an invitation for RACE Members to purchase Reciprocal Members Reserve tickets and one additional guest ticket.
RACE Members must return the Reciprocal Member Application Form for the Carnival at least 1 week prior to the day they wish to attend.
Cairns Jockey Club
RACE Members are entitled to receive members privileges at CJC following paying gate entry except on the following Carnivals due to capacity restraints.

Gold Coast Turf Club
A RACE Member is entitled to two complimentary Members’ tickets for non feature and semi-feature days. On major racedays the RACE Member may purchase up to two tickets.
Werribee Racing Club
The Werribee Racing Club offer RACE Members Reciprocal Rights to all of their race meetings including Werribee Cup Day in November. These rights allow RACE Members free entry into the racecourse on all days including access to the Member’s Dining Room (excluding Cup Day & Christmas Day).
West Australian Turf Club
A RACE Member is entitled to one complimentary Members’ ticket and the opportunity to purchase one additional guest ticket for all days at Ascot & Belmont Park.
OTHER INTERNATIONAL RACING CLUBS
Hong Kong Jockey Club
A RACE Member is entitled to one complimentary Members’ ticket and the opportunity to purchase an additional guest pass for all race meetings at Happy Valley & Sha Tin (including the HKJC International Race Meeting).
Singapore Turf Club
A RACE Member is asked to make prior arrangements for complimentary tickets before visiting Singapore Racecourse and all requests must be accompanied by a letter of introduction from RACE. Complimentary tickets are available to a Member and their guest except for major race-meetings.
