Bee Enchanted and stablemate Get Funky were in great touch at Awapuni on Tuesday morning.

Fast work was held on the plough or on the synthetic track as the majority prepared for Awapuni on Friday or Woodville on Sunday.

Bee Enchanted and Get Funky used the plough and reeled off 1000m in 1.2.4, the last 600 in 36.5.

Bee Enchanted will be out to improve his fine record on the synthetic track when he lines up at his local meeting on Friday. Seven starts on it have yielded four wins, a second and a third.

Get Funky, a winner himself on the synthetic last year, was unplaced when resuming last month, but looks a big improver for the r65 1200m.

Bourbon Falls and Coney Island were paired over 1000m as well, being timed their final 800m in 49.8, the last 600 in 36.8. Both are in fine fettle.

Cheval de Foudre and a Sweynesse three-year-old from the Mark Oulaghan barn were at a fast clip early over 1000m in 60.9, but eased a shade for the last 600 to finish with 37.7.

Lovehelen and maiden stablemate Manzor Blue covered 1000m in 1.4.1, the last 600 in 37.4, while Identikit, unplaced on debut two weeks ago, and Cher Ami went 800m in 50.7 and 37.3.

Poppy's Girl had co-trainer Hazel Schofer aboard over 1000m in 1.6.1, the last 600 in 38.3, and  has not raced since her unplaced run on debut last December.

Sailor Jack, going well after a short break, was timed 1000m in 1.7.2, the last 600 in 38.9, while unraced Sooboog filly Hurry Home and a War Decree gelding, two more from the Fannin-Schofer barn, took 1.8.5 and 38.6.

Deadly Pony, close to winning form, did two quiet rounds with a 600m sprint at the end of each one in 42.6 and 38.5 respectively.

Lantern Way, a last-start winner in late April, worked over 800m in 52.9, the last 600 in 38.4. He also won the Group 3 Hawke's Bay Guineas last spring.

Unraced five-year-old Hips Don't Lie (by Mongolian Khan) and unraced four-year-old Craftsman (by Alamosa) ran 1000m in 1.5.6, the last 600 in 39.1. They are trained by Mike Breslin and are likely to debut this week.

Their stablemates Crouch and Nun So Bad were on terms throughout 1000m in 1.8.5, the last 600 in 39 seconds even, and De Oro Charm, third at the Foxton trials two weeks ago, went alone in 1.8.1 and 39.5.

Reprobate and Gum Basher were paired over 1000m in 1.11.5, the last 600 in 40.5, and Popsagoosey took 1.13.7 and 40.6.

Super Gold, improving steadily, had trainer Nicky Goss in the saddle over a quiet round before galloping 800m in 54.2, the last 600 in 40.3.

Pleasing had Shirley Temple for a partner over 600m in 41.6. Pleasing won a maiden on the synthetic track in mid-June and has since won a trial at Foxton.

Shirley Temple was beaten a nose on the synthetic track last start and will endeavour to go one better on Friday.

On the synthetic track this morning, Barzetti skipped over 800m in 50.1, the last 600 in 37.6, and his stablemate Zackery posted 53.1 and 38.2.

Goddess finished with 600m in 39.1, and Queen Of Spades was kept to 1000m in 1.12.7 and 41.6.

Treat Yourself (by Savabeel) and Blue Jeanie (by Satono Aladdin), unraced four-year-old mares trained by Bryce Newman, sprinted 600m in 42.6.
