Breslin Stable Ready To Kick Goals
By RON GURNEY | October 18, 2022

Flying Surf and Nun So Bad highlighted a very quiet gallop session at Awapuni this morning.

All fast work was held on the plough (good), where Flying Surf and stablemate Nun So Bad were paired over 800m in 54.1, the last 600 in 39.6.

Flying Surf has been freshened since racing in June, and won a trial at Foxton (850m) two weeks ago.

Nun So Bad has been knocking on the door as usual, and it is only a matter of time before she clears maidens.

Hungry and Donnybrook (by Zed), two more from the stable of Mike Breslin, covered 800m in 54.3, the last 600 in 40 seconds even.

Hungry has taken great benefit from a resuming run at Waverley two weeks ago, and Donnybrook (by Zed) was a game fourth on debut the same day.

A Per Incanto filly and a Time Test gelding, both trained by Mark Oulaghan, ran 800m in 55.8, the last 600 in 40.9, while their stablemate Tweedledee ended with 58.1 and 41.9. Master Fin and a Shocking filly were almost identical with 58.2 and 42.1.
