On Boxing Day, 1881, The Manawatū Racing Club conducted its first race meeting, attracting a crowd of well-dressed spectators.

RACE Awapuni is delighted to be associated with PNCC's Manawatu History month, taking place at the Palmerston North Central Library during March.
