House Of Cartier is at the top of her game for Saturday’s Livamol Classic, judging by her bold final at Awapuni this morning.

All fast work was on the plough (good), which produced smart  times all session, with just one gallop recorded on the heavy No 1 grass.

House Of Cartier used the plough and did a quiet round and a half before speeding up to run her final 800m in 50.5, the last 600 in 36.6.

Dedoje and Flying Surf covered 800m in 50.8, the last 600 in 37 seconds even, while their stablemates, Better Days and a Showcasing gelding recorded 50.4 and  37.5. Better Days is an un-raced three-year-old filly by Preferment.

Ansu and Sassy Susan were paired over 1000m in 1.9.8, the last 600 in 37.6, followed soon after by Platinum Spirit and King Of Awl, who ran 800m in 51.1, the last 600 in 37.6 as well.

Hawke’s Bay entrant Passione (r74 mile) and Silky Red Fox were on terms throughout 800m in 52.1, the last 600 in 37.7. Passione will appreciate better track conditions at Hastings.

Son Of Thunder, who won on debut at Awapuni last Thursday, and un-raced three-year-old Soowin (by Sooboog) ran 800m in 52.1, the last 600 in 37.8. Lincoln Lane and a Per Incanto-Della Luna mare posted exactly the same times.

Raffle, a big improver from his resuming run at Taupo, and Khalfani stayed together over 800m in 52.4, the last 600 in 37.2.

Hawke’s Bay prospect Wakari had stablemate Kapinos (r74 1200m) for a partner over 1000m in 1.7.7, coming the final 800m in 52.7, the last 600 in 38.7. Wakari will have a tongue tie added to the gear on Saturday.

My Father’s Gun (r65 1400m) had race-day jockey Dylan Turner aboard over 1000m in 1.8.7, the last 600 in 38.9, and he did not get the rub of the green last start.

His stablemate Wind In My Wings was at a solid clip early over 800m in 50.7, but eased to complete the last 600 in 38.8. Quatromosa clocked 51.4 and 38.1. Rischio and a Tavistock filly went 52.1 and 38 even.

Hawke’s Bay runners Reign It In (MAAT 1400m) and Town Cryer (r65 1400m) matched strides over 1000m in 1.8 even, coming the final 800m in 53.4, the last 600 in 39.1.

Their stablemates Emvees Last Hurrah and un-raced three-year-old filly Sweetjineen (by Nadeem) went 1000m in 1.8.3, the last 600 in 39.8. Sweetjineen won a Foxton trial last month.

Favoloso wasted no time early over 800m in 52.1, but eased over the last 600 in 39.9, and last-start winner Champers came up with 54.1 and 39.8. She tackles the r74 mile on Saturday.

Father Lenihan had Robbie Hannam aboard over 1000m in 1.8.9, the last 600 in 40.3, and St Nancy, who needs two scratchings to get into the r65 1400m at Hastings, ran 800m in 55.1, the last 600 in 40 even.

Colorado Star (open 1400m) and Parisian Poppy (r65 1400m) were paired over an easy 800m in 56.1, the last 600 in 40.7.

Colorado Star won fresh up with stable apprentice Faye Lazet in the saddle, but senior rider Leah Hemi takes the mount on Saturday.

Inmyshadow was not after time over 800m in 56.1, the last 600 in 41.6, and Fibonacci, who has not raced for 11 months, was kept to 59 even and 42.6. Stormcast sprinted 600m in 42.6.

On the No 1 grass, Oceanides left 800m behind in 53.8, the last 600 in 39.2.
