Pinkerton again showed what a great vein of form he is in when galloping boldly at Awapuni on Tuesday morning.
Fast work was held on the plough or on the synthetic track.

Pinkerton used the plough and had a lightweight rider aboard when peeling off 1000m in 1.1.6, the last 600 in 35.7.

The Niagara six-year-old has won two out of three this campaign and more success looms large at Trentham on Saturday for the r75 mile.

Super Spirit, second in a maiden steeplechase last start, and Dal Kilchoan were paired over 1000m in 1.3.1, the last 600 in 38.3.

Top jumper Berry The Cash, who won the Awapuni Hurdles at Woodville last start, ran 1000m in 1.4.1, the last 600 in 38.2.

Make Time had Chris Dell aboard over 1000m in 1.8.4, the last 600 in 40 seconds even. He was badly hampered at the start when resuming at Wanganui two weeks ago. He tackles the open 1300m on Saturday.

Reprobate (mdn 1400m), disappointing last start, and Moon Money were on terms throughout an easy 1000m in 1.16.1, the last 600 in 40.3, and Queen Of Spades sprinted 600m in 41.7.

On the synthetic track, maiden three-year-old Lincoln Towers covered 1000m in 1.2.1, the last 600 in 36.1, and continues to work solidly.

Almalane and Hasbulla went together over 1000m in 1.10.8, increasing the tempo as they went to end with 800m in 53.3, the last 600 in 38.9. Almalane finished third at Hawera last start with blinkers on for the first time.

Crouch and three-year-old filly French Doll were kept to 800m in 55.4, the last 600 in 40.1, while their stablemate Pleasing went alone in 57.4 and 41.7.
