The Bergerson-trained stablemates Asahi, Bradman and Reign It In were impressive at Awapuni on Tuesday morning.

Fast work was on the synthetic track or on the plough (good).

Asahi, Bradman and Reign It In used the synthetic track, with Asahi working alone over a very smart 1000m in 59.6, the last 600 in 35.6.

The Savabeel gelding finally cleared maidens in February, but was unable to follow up in three subsequent starts and has been freshened again.

Bradman and Reign It In covered 1000m together in 60.5, the last 600 in 35.7, which was just as eye-catching. Bradman continues to race honestly, while Reign It In, entered for Trentham, has taken great benefit from a resuming run at Woodville two weeks ago.

Former northerner Oxygen, now with the Fannin-Schofer partnership, did a quiet round before galloping 1000m in 1.6.7, the last 600 in 37.6.

His stablemate Don't Ask, who was fourth fresh up on the synthetic early last week, went 1000m in 1.7.6, the last 600 in 38.8.

Bubbajock, a winner fresh up the same day, and an Almanzor mare left 1000m behind in 1.8.5, the last 600 in 39.2. Kawatiri posted 1.9.1 and 39.3.

French Doll and Hips Don't Lie were paired over 600m in 39.4, and Sir Lincoln ended a round and a half of solid work with 600m in 40.7.

Unraced two-year-old filly Rushin Home (by Russian Revolution) and a War Decree gelding, both trained by Mike Breslin, were kept to 800m in 57.4, the last 600 in 40.1.

Their stablemates Craftsman (by Alamosa) and unraced four-year-old mare Shirley Temple (by Vespa) ended with 41.2.

All other gallops were on the plough, where last-start winner Pinkerton sped over 1000m in 1.2.7, the last 600 in 36.8. He is fired up for Egmont on Sunday.

His stablemates Kentucky Boy, a winner over hurdles last start, and Super Spirit went 1000m together in 1.2.8, the last 600 in 37.6. They go to Egmont as well.

Textbook and Dealornodeal were on terms throughout 1000m in 1.5.7, the last 600 in 37.2, while unraced two-year-old gelding Afterthought (by So You Think) and a Vespa gelding, both from the Breslin barn, recorded 1.6.4 and 37.5.

Old Town Road had Popsagoosey for a partner over 1000m in 1.7.2, the last 600 in 37.8, and they head to Trentham. Love Janie ended with 600m in 37.5. Smokin Mo and last-start winner Meglio Di Falcrest came up with 37.9.

Coney Island and Verardino, possible rivals at Trentham, matched strides over 1000m in 1.6.6, the last 600 in 38.3, while Donnybrook and Nun So Bad posted 1.8.3 and 40.1.

Jack Morrison and a Shocking maiden sprinted 600m in 40.8, while Lady Performer and former southerner It's Not Unusual went a quiet 800m in 58.1, the last 600 in 43.1.
