Lady Performer and Richter, stablemates trained by Lydia Pickford, worked in fine fashion together at Awapuni this morning.

Lady Performer and Richter used the plough and covered 800m in 50.1, the last 600 in 36.5, and both horses have been freshened since racing before Christmas.

Textbook was timed 800m in 52.8, the last 600 in 38.1, while Surprize Me, who has not raced for 18 months, took 53.8 and 39.6. They are from the Pickford barn as well.

On the synthetic track, Sevenayes and unraced three-year-old Craftsman (by Alamosa) were paired over 800m in 52.3, the last 600 in 38.6.

An unraced U S Navy Flag filly trained by Roydon Bergerson ran 800m in 55.7, the last 600 in 39.6, while stablemate Reign It In, not seen since the spring, went 1000m in 1.17.6 and 40 seconds even.

Sindacato went a casual 800m in 55.6, the last 600 in 41.5, and a Tivaci filly and a Time Test filly, two more from the Bergerson stable, sprinted 600m in 43.1.
